We are building a global business, so our team needs to be diverse and global. Our team is 40% women, we have people from 19 countries across 6 continents with a wide range of backgrounds, languages, and ethnicities.

James Aleman

CEO

James has over 20 years of SaaS experience. Most recently, at Felix as their Chief Operating Officer James led teams in Sales, Projects, Marketing and Customer Success business units.

Throughout his senior executive career, he has delivered significant growth for leading organisations, MSL (MPowerMSL), ABB Enterprise Software, Ventyx, Data#3 and others.

Paul Northcote

COO

Paul is an outcome and delivery-focused senior executive leader passionate about digital transformation. He has delivered projects, change, business efficiency and performance through innovation and technology over the last 25 years.

Paul was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Nostra a SaaS project and portfolio management (PPM) tool with Denver Technology.

Marc Brooks

Financial Controller

As Financial Controller of the Commit Works group, Marc is responsible for all aspects of financial management of the group including treasury, financial planning & analytics, taxation, and financial and management reporting.
With almost three decades of experience in the establishment and management of finance functions for multi-national organisations in start-up and scale-up phase, primarily in the funds management and technology sectors, Marc has been instrumental in delivering improvements in operational efficiency.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Business from QUT and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Ian Jones

Head of Product

Ian brings over 20 years of mining experience to Commitworks, having worked for Thiess, Deswik, RPMGlobal and iVolve in that time. Alongside working for these companies, Ian has also consulted to many of the major mining companies including Glencore, BHP and Rio Tinto as a business intelligence professional.

Throughout his career, Ian has specialised in the operational aspects of business with special focus on Short Interval Control and Digitisation. Following on from involvement in the early stages of the Barrick Digitisation project in Nevada, Ian also contributed significant input into the Global Mining Guidelines (GMG) Guideline for Short Interval Control. This knowledge has proved valuable in the design and implementation of solutions in this space for multiple companies.

For the past 10 years, Ian has worked primarily in Product Management and has led teams in implementing robust systems to manage the design and strategic development of new products.

A qualified IT professional, Ian has also worked as a programmer, business analyst and project manager for many different projects. He has an MBA from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from QUT.

Andres Gurovich

Regional Manager, South America

Andres brings with him experience in sales leadership, operations management, and business development from diverse industries including mining technology, airlines, and industrial engineering. . He is responsible for operations, business development and account management, ensuring customers in the region can use the Commit Works’ platform to drive maximum value into the business over the long-term.

Hima Kurian

Engineering Manager

Hima distinguishes herself as a highly accomplished engineering professional, fueled by a profound passion for innovation and adept team leadership. Her remarkable track record encompasses skillfully guiding cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions and attain operational excellence. Hima is renowned for her robust communication, strategic decision-making, and empathetic leadership that significantly amplifies the success of the teams under her guidance.

Hima commenced her professional odyssey at Cognizant, starting as an engineer. Subsequently, she transitioned to Intuit, ascending from the role of a senior engineer to her current position as Engineering Manager, marking a steady and impressive progression over the past 8 years.

Danica Ninkov

Operations Manager

Danica is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in project management, business analytics, and change management. She has successfully led large-scale initiatives and digital transformation projects across industries including energy, mining, telecommunications, gaming, healthcare, and infrastructure.  Recognized for her strategic approach to operational management, Danica excels in driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and delivering sustainable business value. She leverages data-driven insights to enhance performance, streamline workflows, and foster continuous improvement.  Danica holds a Bachelor of Organisational Leadership and is a Registered Practitioner for Managing Successful Programs. She also holds Diplomas in Project Management, Business, and Management.  Her leadership experience includes roles such as International Service Delivery Manager, ICT Operations Manager, and Business Systems Integration Partner, where she played a key role in aligning business objectives with operational excellence.

Lyle Bruce

Director at Jolimont Mining Technology, Chairman of BMT, Mineware and METS Ignited

Lyle Bruce has a track record of achievement in managing and growing mining technology businesses. He was Managing Director of GroundProbe from 2003 to 2013, taking it from zero revenue to a trade sale of more than $100 million in 2010.

Andrew Jessett

Commit Works Director

Andrew has 20 years’ experience in entrepreneurship and leadership roles in the mining industry. This includes founding and serving as CEO at MineWare Pty Ltd from 2005 through to its acquisition by Komatsu Ltd in 2017. Andrew also currently holds a VP role at RCF Jolimont, a growth equity firm specialising in mining innovation investment. Andrew’s qualifications include a Masters of Engineering and MBA.

Bryce Greig

CEO and Director of ACAC Innovation

Bryce took over the reins from his father and founder, former Bechtel executive Andy Greig, in 2019. He is an experienced lawyer and businessman whose previous work took him everywhere from the Pilbara in Western Australia to Saudi Arabia. Having worked for large domestic and international corporations like Norton Rose Fulbright and Bechtel, he knows what a successful business model looks like and how to make it succeed. Bryce’s credentials have led to him being appointed to the board of several of ACAC Innovation’s startups as a non-executive director. Bryce is passionate about helping people turn their innovative and disruptive ideas into successful ventures.

 

Henry Ye GAICD

Co-founder Aequora Capital, Former Executive/Early Investor at WiseTech Global

Henry has 20 years of executive experience in building up WiseTech Global (ASX:WTC), an A$8bn+ listed global logistics software leader, including founding and managing WiseTech’s Greater China business. Henry has extensive Saas product development and commercialisation experience, as well as M&A and corporate development experience.
Henry co-founded Aequora Capital as a principal investment business, focused on helping growth stage technology businesses with global potential to become the next unicorn. Henry sits on the board of a number of investee companies, and is also a member of the UTS Entrepreneurial Leaders Advisory Board.
